Glas Italia, established in 1972 in Brianza, manufactures doors, wall partitions, and glass furniture. Naoto Fukasawa
Naoto Fukasawa, born in Yamanashi Prefecture in 1956, graduated from Tama Art University's Product Design Department in 1980. He joined ID Two (now IDEO San Francisco) in the United States in 1989, returning to Japan in 1996 to lead IDEO's Tokyo office. Fukasawa went independent in 2003, establishing NAOTO FUKASAWA DESIGN. Renowned for his versatile designs across various fields, Fukasawa emphasizes philosophies such as “design dissolving in behavior” and “normality.” He coined the concept "Without Thought," focusing on unconscious human behavior, and has held annual workshops on this theme since 1999, publishing their outcomes in books.
