Florian Hauswirth
Florian Hauswirth, born in 1976 near Zurich, trained as a technical model maker and worked in product development, notably for Vitra. While studying industrial design at FHNW, he also engaged in street art and material research. Hauswirth won several design awards, including a Nike Play Award and a Wallpaper Award, and received grants for international projects. Since 2009, his focus has shifted to spatial works and urban planning, collaborating with architect Katia Ritz in the RITZWIRTH collective, which has achieved notable success. In 2022, he became a partner in rk-Studio and continues to teach at HSLU Lucerne, overseeing the annual graduate exhibition from 2023.
