Michele De Lucchi
Michele De Lucchi, born in 1951 in Ferrara, Italy, is an influential designer and architect. He graduated from Florence University in 1975 and worked with Adolfo Natalini. Active during the radical design movements of the late 1970s and 1980s, De Lucchi was involved with Cavart, Studio Alchimia, and co-founded the Memphis Group with Ettore Sottsass. His designs for furniture, lamps, and objects have been produced by notable manufacturers like Artemide and Alessi. In 1978, he moved to Milan, working for Kartell and creating iconic designs like the Sinerpica and Sinvola lamps.
